Saturday Spotlight #6

Hello Everyone!

It's time for the showing off our favourites from the Christmas in July challenge!

Thank you to everyone who entered, you all did an excellent job!
The variety was amazing and inspiring, I almost wished it was Christmas already!
Well, it definitely was a good kick start to get those cards made in time!

First of all I would like to thank the DT from
Sassy Studio Designs, our sponsor,
who also added their fabulous entries.
Love your layout DebbieM, and your Sassy cards Ruza, Jacki R & Chris S.
Thanks for your support and we hope to see you around often!

This week was a themed challenge and because it was quite a wide theme,
I decided to consider a few things to help narrow down the choice.
After some deliberation, I decided on the following:
Traditional colours (Red, green & gold),
 Non-traditional Colours (anything else!),
CAS (Clean and simple and/or easy to make - the perfect quick Christmas card!),
 Shape (shaped cards/projects).
(All your lovely creations fell in one or 2 of the categories!)
Did narrowing it down make it easier?
A little bit, because we could compare apples with apples...LOL.
We had loads of fun looking at all your lovely creations!

So without keeping you in suspense any longer, the runner-ups, in no particular order:

#29 Linda Palmer -  Lovely step card in traditional colours!
#60 Tine - Your card is simply lovely. The angel is beautiful, the white so peaceful!
#28 Gail K - what a clever combination of Traditional & non-traditional colours!
#66 Carla - Awesome Christmas ball plus tutorial - inspiring!
#46 Elizabeth H - Lovely simple design using fab DP in traditional colours!!
#14 lalkygirl - Great decoration in traditional colours!
#45 Mette - Excellent CAS card - the perfect quick card design (My opinion :)
#43 Becky G - Super Cute in pink. Bright and happy!

Here are this week's spotlights:
The first spotlight falls on a stunning shaped creation in non-traditional colours:
Your mittens are really great, all the additional elements makes this a perfect Christmas card!
The second spotlight falls on a fabulous CAS card:
Just love this CAS design and the beading is so beautiful.
The third spotlight falls on a delightful and happy card in non-traditional colours:
What a bright, fun card! The red with the aqua makes this card pop!
Definitely a show-stopper!

The fourth spotlight falls on a sweet card in traditional colours:
The image & toned down colours you used goes so perfectly together!
I can almost smell that pudding!

Congratulations to all of you!!!
It was again not easy to make our final decision despite there being less than a 100 entries!
