Mixed Media Monday!

Hi everyone!
I am so excited to be hosting this inspirational challenge!
What is Mixed Media?
A mixed media project is one which combines different painting and drawing materials and methods, rather than only one medium. Any materials can be used, including collage items such as pages from magazines, newspaper, photographs, fabric, or packaging. Or a mixed media piece can be as 'simple' as using two mediums, such as acrylic paints with pastel on top.
Our challenge is simple:
Anything Goes, Mixed Media!
For my project I made some twinchies.
What exactly is a twinchie?
It’s a two inch x two inch piece of artwork. You can use any media you like to make it, paper, fabric, wood, metal…the list goes on!
Heavy watercolor paper works perfectly for making this, but if you like to recycle you could use a cereal packet or other similar packaging, or even a postcard.

You can make up a set to keep for yourself, or you can start to trade them in swaps the same as you would for ATC's.

Twinchies are fun and completely addictive.

Here are the finished twinchies:

I used one of the twinchies to make a card:

You can see more details HERE.

Remember to have fun! I can not wait to see what everyone creates! Please do not forget to upload your project into the Mr. Linky thingy below, and if you don't have your own blog you can add your project to our flickr group HERE to link up.

This challenge is just for fun and will be open until January 20; we will select a winner from the entries.
