Embossing for fun!

Good day to you all, Rene here!
Yes, I have been a bit MIA, but it is great to be back in the swing of things!
This is our last challenge for 2014 and will run until 28 December. The team is taking a tiny break, really just about 10 days, but we will pop in to see what you have created.
We have 2 fabulous sponsors for this challenge!
On to the challenge: Embossing!

There are so many kinds of embossing, blind embossing, foil embossing, heat embossing using embossing powders, embossing using embossing plates, and so I can go on.

We want to see some embossing on your creation, that is the only rule. Please tell us in your post what kind of embossing you have used if it is not that obvious.
Now onto the wonderful inspiration of the team using images from our generous sponsors:

Rene : Candy Jar

And now for some lovely inspiration
from our Guest Designers!

Michelle L from Laughing Ducks
My name is Michelle and I am mum to 1 son, Brandon and also to a 23 year old cat called Suki.
I have been crafting since 2007 but was cross stitching way before then. I love making cards, it's
my little world to escape too and I would be lost without it. I have a very understanding partner who
patiently puts up with the mess.
I feel very chuffed to be doing a GDT for Crafting by Designs, so thank you for having me.

My name is Anna, I'm 39 this year and I am from Poland. I am a primary school teacher and - as a former ballroom dancer - I run a little dance and fitness studio in my town. I started my cardmaking over 2 years ago, when I fainted from overworking and a doctor said to me, that I should find something relaxing... I didn't think this is gonna be so addictive! I love all these ribbons, papers, stamps and inks. I am trying to improve my skills visiting other crafter's blogs and watching YouTube videos (and I can't even imagine what it would look like without internet). I love the way crafting connects people all over the world! Thank you for inviting me to be your GDT, I am so honoured!

Our Guest Designers
Maggie from Maggie's Cat House

Hi, everyone. My name is Margaret “Maggie” Schoener.  I am originally from a small town of suburban Philadelphia, but I’ve been in Houston, Texas for over 40 years now. I’m a single mom with 2 grown daughters and 4 awesome grandchildren, the oldest one who is now married and will graduate college in April 2015. I’m also“mom” to 4 furbabies who live in my house, Paisley, Maggie Mae, Corey, and Casper who are the inspiration for my Stamp Haven and blog - Maggie’s Cat House. I also have a few (like 9) outside kitties that I love just as much and take care of.    I am originally from a small town of suburban Philadelphia, but I’ve been in Houston, Texas for over 40 years now.  My mom taught me the love of crafting with thread and needles as I was growing up. I started paper crafting way back about 1999 with scrapbooking but then one of my daughters introduced me to rubber stamping. I love all things creative, but there’s only time for so much especially with a full time job and making cards took over my life. I love a challenge and have seen my style evolve over the years and have enjoyed learning so many different techniques. My passion right now is Copic markers. I love playing with them and have taken all the classes Copics offered, sometimes twice.

Claudia from Clau'scrapy
Hello dear friends, I am Claudia Duarte, from Clau’Scrappy. For me, it’s a big honor that  this wonderful challenge blog have invited me as a guest designer. I love to create beautiful cards with flowers elements. I love to paint with copics, and I enjoy very much my time crafting. I love, really love coloring images and use them as the main theme of a card. Thank you again for this opportunity, and I hope you like my creation.
Aren't these just fabulous so now its your turn to have some Silver and White fun. Follow the rules, Current projects only and no back linking. Add your project and link up your blog post to Mr Linky below.
Thanks for entering and remember the challenge closes on the 16th December.

My hobbies include: Card Making, drawing, origami, tea bag folding, beading, polymer clay, crocheting, ham radio, balloon animals and so much more… My art work can be found at Stitchy Bears Digital Outlet: http://stitchybearstamps.com/shop/ under the creator "CraftyGirl". Thrilled to be a GDT at Crafting by Designs.

Janis from Pause Dream Enjoy

I'm an avid reader, crafter, and blogger. My favorite smell is brewing coffee (even though I don't drink it). My fav activity is camping. As far as crafting goes - I love to stamp, use metal dies, and my Silhouette Cameo. I hope you'll stop by my blog, Pause Dream Enjoy, and visit me! (www.PauseDreamEnjoy.blogspot.com)
